What is a Query?

A query is a way to request specific information from other online researchers. You will fill out a simple web form, and your question will be posted to the web site. You will provide your e-mail address, and then anyone who has the answer to your question can e-mail you personally. Your query will stay on the site, and the surnames will be added to our search page. Before submitting a query, please read over the guidelines, below.

To post a query

Please feel free to enter a query for your Hocking County ancestors. You can  submit a query by e-mail. Queries will not receive attention unless the subject line reads: HOCKING COUNTY QUERIES.  Since all queries must be manually posted, I ask that you PLEASE adhere to the following guidelines.

• If your lines are not in this county, please do not enter a query here - it will not be posted. Please specify the relevant county in your query.
• Please place surnames in all capital letters.
• Enter your query information exactly as you want it to appear.

Queries will be udpated at least once a week so if your's doesn't appear immediately please be patient.
